Ryan P. McClelland was born and raised in Columbus, OH. He received his Bachelor's Degree from the Carl H. Lindner College of Business at the University of Cincinnati in 1995 and relocated to Clearwater, FL. He joined Estate and Retirement Planning, (a family financial services firm that was established in 1981) and enrolled in the College for Financial Planning, located in Denver, CO. Ryan graduated from the College for Financial Planning in 1998, and was given the rights by the CFP® Board of Standards to use the CFP® marks as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. To obtain this designation, Ryan completed the financial planning education requirements in six major planning areas set by the CFP Board and successfully completed the 10-hour CFP Certification Exam and the Candidate Fitness Standards and background check. In October of 2009, Ryan successfully completed the curriculum from The American College, earning the right to use the Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designation.
Ryan made his way onto radio in early 2006, and is currently the host and producer of “Elite Money Strategies”. The show airs every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:30am on “True Oldies” 106.3 FM and covers a wide range of Estate, Retirement, and Tax Planning issues. Ryan uses a common sense approach to planning, and explains the issues in such a way that they are easy to understand.
Ryan, his wife of 12 years RonneSue, and their daughter Camryn live in Palm Harbor with their 3 dogs, Darby, Bailey, and Codi.
